Our Story
From frustrated club director to software founder
Grizzly Teams was born out of necessity. Our founder, Dave, spent years running a youth basketball club in Portland. Every season meant the same headaches: chasing down payments, manually tracking rosters in spreadsheets, and sending hundreds of individual emails to parents.
After trying every "solution" on the market and finding them either too expensive, too complicated, or too limited, Dave decided to build what he wished existed. In 2019, Grizzly Teams launched with a simple promise: make club management so easy that anyone could do it.
Today, we serve over 200 clubs and 15,000 players across the country. But we're just getting started. Every week, we're talking to club directors, learning what they need, and building the features that make their lives easier.
